Lightning Strikes Wakefield Church

On October 23rd 2018, two days before Thanksgiving, a Wakefield landmark and core monument of the community was struck by lightning.  This 8th-alarm fire was fully involved and nearly seven towns responded to help and try to put out of the fire.  The building had to be torn down immediately and reconstructing all of the building and personal property damage without any evidence was very difficult.  Our entire staff utilized ancient blueprints, surrounding churches and the help of members pictures, memories and hard work completed a well-documented case that was presented to the insurance carrier.
