Our Proud Family History

SELTSER & GOLDSTEIN PUBLIC ADJUSTERS, INC., has been family owned and operated through four generations. The company originated in 1935 by its founder, Louis Gilman and continued to grow with subsequent generations of Gerald, Peter, and David Seltser. Continuing the tradition, Gary Goldstein became a member of the family and it’s firm and has carried on our proud family tradition with his son Joshua.

Now based in Beverly, MA., SELTSER & GOLDSTEIN PUBLIC ADJUSTERS, INC, continues to pride themselves on the basic foundation set forth by Mr. Gilman; provide your client, service and personal attention.

With our in-house staff of competent, qualified and experienced adjusters, appraisers, secretarial, clerical, IT and accounting personal, SELTSER & GOLDSTEIN can respond quickly and efficiently to all your questions and inquiries.



GaryAs the Owner and President of Seltser and Goldstein Public Adjusters, Inc., Gary continues to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company and takes great pride in the services that SELTSER & GOLDSTEIN provide. Since 1991, Gary himself has had a phenomenal record of success for both his clients and those he serves, treating every claim as it was his own and personifying our credo of “We Care.”



JoshJosh is a graduate of UMass Amherst and holds a degree in Economics. He pursued his thirst for representing the policyholder by advancing his education and graduating from Vale Tech Property Institute in Pennsylvania. Joshua also secured his Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License, which provides him and the firm’s clients a wealth of construction, economic and adjusting experience and knowledge.



AnthonyAnthony attended and graduated from Wentworth Mechanical Engineering Program, as well as Boston University’s MCSE Program. He is the former Building Inspector for the City of Chelsea, MA, and is multilingual in Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. Anthony’s across-the-board familiarity in the IT field, as well as his wealth of knowledge with building, construction, codes, and other structural systems and designs, makes him a valuable asset to the family and to our clients.



DarisseHaving worked with the firm for over 15 years, Darisse typifies our philosophy of “We Care.” Her extensive knowledge, education, training and workload make her a foremost leader whose expertise is respected, admired and looked up to when inventorying, cataloging and recording your personal property, business personal property, belongings, assets, collectibles and valuables.



RickRicky represents the policyholder with zeal and confidence. He provides our clients with a thorough and comprehensive overview of the insurance policies and the inner workings of the insurance industry, and as a competent dwelling and building take-off man, his personalized service can be summed up in two words:
“We Care.”



RobertSELTSER & GOLDSTEIN PUBLIC ADJUSTERS, INC., is thrilled to have Bob Brown on their staff. He is an experienced multi-line adjuster with over 25 years of adjusting maturity, experience and hands-on exposure to any size disaster. Bob has traveled throughout the United States adjusting claims big and small, and his insight and participation with the clientele and their insurance companies has earned him the respect and admiration of many.



MargieSince 1990, Margie has worked with the family in the capacity of Senior Administrative Officer, handling the accounting, clerical and bookkeeping responsibilities of the firm. Her high level of confidentiality, accuracy, expertise and efficiency, along with her trustworthiness and her sound work ethic, make her an invaluable asset to the team and to our clients.



JeffJeff has been very familiar with insurance language and protocols since a very young age while working for his family-owned insurance agency. After graduating from Endicott College in Beverly with a Bachelor’s degree, Jeff joined the SELTSER & GOLDSTEIN team. He brings extensive insurance knowledge and specializes in policy interpretation.
